The Story of Canny Kicks

Canny Kicks was created to give children and families in the local area more opportunities to play football, build confidence, and make friends. Coach Chris saw how football could bring out character, smiles, and teamwork in every child, but noticed not everyone had access to quality coaching.

From the first session, it was clear Canny Kicks was more than just football, it was a place where children are supported, encouraged, and empowered to shine, both on and off the pitch.

Today, we continue to provide welcoming, inclusive sessions that help every child reach their potential and feel part of something special.

About us

Canny Kicks was created with a simple mission - to give more children and families in the local community a welcoming place to get involved in football and receive top-quality coaching.

Founded by Head Coach Chris, who holds a degree in Coaching Sport Performance and Excellence, Canny Kicks combines professional knowledge with genuine passion for developing young players.

Chris recognised the need for accessible, high-standard coaching in the area and set out to build a community-focused programme where every child can build confidence, develop their skills, and discover a true love for football. At Canny Kicks, every player is valued, encouraged, and guided to reach their full potential in a supportive and inspiring environment.
